The Key and the Trust
A Manifesto for the Living Spirit - Part V
“And He taught Adam the Names — all of them!”
2:31
Knowledge—
It is the Key that crowned Adam above Angels,
the Light that saves from the tyranny of Myth,
that lifts the Heart from its beasty shadow,
into Divine birth.
The Creation is an invitation—
to wonder,
to ponder,
to imagine!
As “He has subjected to you
all that is in the Heavens and the Earth,
all being from Him.
Verily there are Signs in this,
for those who Reflect!”
45:13
For both—the world Within and the world Without,
are open Books pointing towards the One.
So “Read,
in the name of Thou who create.
Created man from a clinging clot!
Read, for Thy is the most Generous,
Who teacheth by the pen.
Teacheth man that which he knew Not.”
96:1
Let Knowledge be the crown of Living,
and every house be a lantern of Learning,
its doors open to Science, Wisdom and Reason.
Because “Are they equal:
those who Know,
and those who know Not ?
It is those who are endued with Intellects—
that take Heed!”
39:9
Let every mind be a garden of Thought;
for free Will is the twin of Knowledge,
Its flame, its Alchemy
that transforms its curse into Cure.
The Heavens and the Earth trembled before it,
but man took up this Trust.
“Truly, We offered the Trust to the Heavens, the Earth, and the mountains,
yet they refused to undertake it and were afraid of it;
Mankind undertook it—
they have always been inept and foolish!”
33:72
He bestowed upon man this perilous blessing,
and loosed every demon to test him;
that his Reason and Conscience might awaken.
“And by the Soul and how He formed it,
and imbued it with [the consciousness of] its evil and its piety:
whoever purifies it will succeed,
and whoever corrupts it—will fail.”
91:7
Man Wills,
and in his Choice lies his Glory and his Trial,
the narrow bridge to Eternity.
Guided by the gift of Revelation,
he burns his inner demons in Awe.
“Indeed, We guided him to the way,
be he grateful or ungrateful!”
76:3
Thus, to Live is to Will.
For Will is the flame of the living Spirit.
