I am not sure what that means? Does the Quran allow paintings of naked women but not photos? I understand that some people use these images to attract the interest of men and some women too, was that the reason to put it up?
The picture is included for symbolic reasons; you can always look the name of the art piece up for more details. As for the photo vs painting, the relevant disobedience that I can think of in the Quran would be the violation of privacy rights. This requires the non-consensual disclosure of a photo/painting of a real person, which is not the case here :)
It seems you have missed the central Qur’anic principle of respect for women: namely, that Islam does not permit the propagation of nude images of women, whether in photographs, paintings, or any other form. Such representations fall under pornography and exploitation, both of which are strictly forbidden.
I suggest reading Surah an-Nisāʾ and studying its tafsir to understand how Allah commands men to honor and protect women, and to not even go near, let alone promote “fahāshah “ (vulgarity). This prohibition includes the use of nude or sexually suggestive images, whether of women or men, in art, writing, or advertising.
I hope you will choose images that dignify women, rather than using their nude bodies to promote your work. I presume you are Muslim.
As for the claim that Arabs or Muslims sold concubines, this is largely a colonial and orientalist narrative, one that is not grounded in factual history. Such portrayals were developed to distort Muslim societies, enslave minds through literature and art, and ultimately erase authentic Islamic culture and religion.
It is far more accurate to study Arabian history through Arab sources, Turkish history through Turkish sources, and so on.
I have personally researched the history of eunuchs in the Ottoman Empire and written a post exposing how colonial powers fabricated and exaggerated narratives to portray Muslims as morally inferior, thereby justifying domination and cultural erasure. You are welcome to read my post if you wish to explore this issue more deeply and arrive at the truth.
Apologies for the length of this comment, but I hope it clarifies what I am trying to convey.
Thank you again for your concern and for sharing your views. I don't agree on equating artistic presentations to fahesha or sexual exploitation let alone pornography. I understand that some cultures may prohibit such presentation, so I apologize if you find this disrespectful. As for the historical accuracy, I am aware of the oriental narratives and can access arabic sources. I stand by what I said about the scenery not being unusual, even similar art pieces can be found in the earliest Umayyads heritage like the Qusayr Amra palace in Jordan https://universes.art/en/art-destinations/jordan/desert-castles/qusayr-amra/audience-hall/img-02
Salaams if a muslim lies it doesn’t make lies a good thing or permitted by Allah same if Ummayyads or other Muslims do things prohibited by the Quran it doesn’t mean that they are ok does it?
Salaams! A sincere request: kindly do not post photos of naked women with quotations of the Quran. It is a direct disobedience !!!
Dear Dr Asmaa, request noted. However, this is not a photo but rather a painting..

Here is the post about eunuchs which illuminates how deep and misguiding the colonial and orientalist propaganda goes:
